There is a black border on the bottom or sides of the image.

If the image is not centered on the screen, do the following:

Projector:

• Check the OSD Menu and check the Aspect ratio. It is normally set to auto detect the aspect ratio on the display. Change the display settings to adjust the image size.
• Use the manual zoom ring on the lens to fill the screen area.

Note 2: You may also experience black bars at the top and bottom of the screen, especially when watching a movie. This is due to the format of the movie. Not all movies are formatted in 16:9. Some are formatted wider than 16:9 which will create black bars on the top and bottom of the screen.
