To watch videos on Netflix with the M1 and M1+ projectors, please do the following:
For Wired Connections:
NOTE: Please check the specifications of your device before buying any accessory mentioned below. If using a direct USB-C to USB-C cable, please make sure to review our USB-C Compatibility list to view the supported devices.
- iOS Based Device:
Based on the connection type of your Apple device, please make sure to use the Apple Inc. authorized "Lightning Digital AV Adapter" or “USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter”.
NOTE: When using third-party adapters, you may experience a “No Signal” issue, meaning the adapter being used is incompatible or not functioning properly.
- Android Based Device:
Connect your device to the M1 or M1+ with a “USB-C to HDMI” or “USB-C to USB-C” cable or adapter that is authorized by the manufacturer of your device.
NOTE:
- Android devices with older USB versions may not support audio and video transmission through USB-C. Please make sure your device supports USB-C ALT mode to successfully transmit audio and video.
- Not all USB-C cables support the same functionality. Please verify with the cable manufacturer on which cables will work best for your scenario.
For Wireless Connections:
- iOS Based Device:
iPhone AirPlay is no longer supported for use with Netflix due to technical limitations. To learn more, see: How do I use my mobile device to watch Netflix on my TV?
- Android Based Device:
The screen mirroring function is not supported and may result in a black screen with audio due to limitations with Netflix.
