Colorbration or Colorbration+ doesn't work with Apple M1 Chip Devices

Modified on Thu, 6 May, 2021 at 9:40 AM

Colorbration and Colorbration+ applications for macOS currently does not have native support for Apple silicon Macs, including Apple's latest M1-equipped MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and Mac mini models.

This is on our roadmap, but we don't yet have an expected date for supporting the new Apple silicon devices.

It might be possible to run these application with Apple's binary translation layer, but this is completely untested, and may not be fully functional: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/apple_silicon/about_the_rosetta_translation_environment
