How to upgrade IFP50-5 from Android 11 and Android 13

IMPORTANT NOTES
- Ensure the display has a stable internet connection.

- Before upgrading to Android 13, please upgrade Android 11 to firmware version 20240425 first.
- Eye Care and Energy Star settings will be reset to default after upgrading to Android 13.
- USB cloned data from Android 11 does not support cloning to Android 13.
- The Android upgrade download speed may vary, depending on the connection speed.
- The Android 13 firmware upgrade process may take 10-15 minutes to complete.
- DO NOT power off device during update as it may result in a non-functioning unit.



Identify the current Android version:

Verify the current Android version located in Settings > About Device. 



Instructions:

  1. Open the Settings menu.
  2. Go to Settings > System > System Update.

  3. Under System Update, click Upgrade to Android 13. 
  4. The Android upgrade process may take 10-15 minutes to complete.
  5. Once completed, verify the Android version to confirm a successful application.




WARNING
If your version is lower than 20240425, please update your Android 11 version by pressing Check Now within the System Update window.
