Disable USB-Ethernet Sharing IFP50-5 series and IFP52-1C series Displays

Modified on Tue, 10 Sep, 2024 at 4:00 PM

The IFP50-5 and IFP52-1C Series displays have the ability to share the display's ethernet connection with a device that is connected via USB-B or USB-C. This is to allow connected devices to share the network connection of the display.

In some instances, this may interfere with the standard network connection of the connected device.

To resolve this please perform the following steps.

  1. Check your device for the current version of the firmware.

  2. Access the debug menu by pressing "INPUT 9 9 1"
  3. Select Machine Setting
  4. Set Ethernet Sharing or USB-C Ethernet Sharing to OFF (close)

This will remove the USB-Ethernet device that shares the internet connection on your connected device and will no longer interfere with the original network connection.
