For annotating over active images, such as those on a webpage you are browsing, or marking items on an active video, it is recommended to use the MyViewBoard WhiteBoard for Windows software. This tool provides the necessary functionality for seamless and professional annotations.


IMPORTANT:
- WINDOWS-ONLY FEATURE: Note that this feature is only supported within the Windows version of myViewBoard    Whiteboard. - ANNOTATION TIP: Any annotations made before switching back to desktop mode will remain on the screen. Make  sure to screenshot and erase if you would like to save your notes but continue navigating with a clear screen. - RETURNING TO CANVAS MODE: Any annotations marked while in desktop mode will be lost when switching back    to canvas mode. Make sure to screenshot if you would like to save your notes before returning to canvas mode. - KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS: Whiteboard keyboard shortcuts are disabled while in Windows desktop mode.



Instructions:

Initiate Annotations:

  1. While having your content shown, open myViewboard WhiteBoard for Windows.
  2. Select the Windows toggle icon in the toolbar tray

  3. From the floating toolbar, select the Annotation tool.   
  4. Annotations can now be made freely.


Exiting Annotations

  • Tap on the Mouse icon within the floating toolbar to stop annotating. Any annotations made, will remain static on the screen.  

  • To clear the annotations, you may use the Eraser tool to erase a section or the Trash can icon to clear everything from the screen.
    • Stroke Eraser
      Default eraser. Erase strokes by drawing over them. This option doesn't allow you to delete non-stroke objects.


    • Clear All Strokes
      Select to clear all strokes from the canvas.


    • Clear All
      Select to clear all objects, including strokes, from the canvas. Note, visible tools will also be removed.
