When connected to a ViewBoard or other display via HDMI, a no-signal message appears on the display. The connected device detects the display but is unable to display an image. 

This behavior can be caused by the Intel Iris Xe Graphics processors. Use the Intel Driver & Support Assistant utility to ensure all Intel drivers are up to date. Once fully updated, return to the Intel graphics command center and adjust the Color Format to YCbCR_420.

Download and install the Intel Graphics Command Center application. 


  • Select Display on the left-hand panel
  • Select the display
  • Navigate to the General Tab
  • Set Color Format to YCbCR_420
