Identifying the correct firmware pack

There are 2 methods to identify which firmware pack is for your device

1.  Verify the Model Number through the Embedded Player Settings. Go to Settings > System > About

2.  Verify the Panel Code on the serial number label. On either the left or right side of the display, there is a Serial Number label with a 2-letter code. Below shows a CT panel code.

Download firmware pack:

CDE4312 - 43" Display, 3840 x 2160 Resolution, 230 cd/m2 Brightness, 16/7

2.  Copy the "CDE6512_CT2_Firmware_Pack" file to the root directory of the USB flash drive.

DO NOT unzip/extract the contents of the Firmware Pack. Copy as a .zip file

Example: CDE6512_CT2_Firmware_Pack

3.  Insert the USB flash drive into the USB2.0 port located next to the LAN port at the underside of the display

4.  Go to Settings > System > About.

5.  Under Online System Updates, click Browse.

   6.  Select the USB flash drive and then select the firmware file.

 7. Wait for the upgrade to complete and display to reboot.

Update will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

IMPORTANT: Do not power off device during update as it may result in a non-functioning unit

8.  Once the unit reboots and returns to the ViewSonic Home screen, verify the unit's firmware version in the About Device. Go to Settings > System > About
