There are four Power Save modes to choose from and knowing which one to use depends on the application. For this scenario we will cover digital signage, information and monitoring systems and meeting rooms where always-on, wake up on active signal and fast boot time is a must. Out-of-the-Box the default Power Save is Mode 1.
Power Modes
- Power Save: Mode 1 (Default)
This is to maximize power saving and to meet EnergyStar® certification. - Power Save: Mode 2
Ideal when you need HDMI-CEC function. The boot time is about 30 +/- seconds from power on.- Press the ‘Settings’ Icon on the remote control to enter ‘OSD menu’ settings.
- Now go to Advanced menu and press the Power save mode and select mode 2.
- Same menu but scroll down to ‘Port’.
- Done.
- Press the ‘Settings’ Icon on the remote control to enter ‘OSD menu’ settings.
- Power Save: Mode 3
Ideal for digital signage, information and monitoring systems and meeting rooms. The boot time is within 5 seconds. Please follow these steps below- Press the ‘Settings’ icon on the remote control to enter ‘OSD menu’ settings.
- Now go to Advanced menu and press the Power save mode and select mode 3.
- Same menu but scroll down to ‘Signal’ and set the settings as followed.
- Done.
- Press the ‘Settings’ icon on the remote control to enter ‘OSD menu’ settings.
- Power Save: Mode 4
Ideally used in an environment for people using control panels but where the device/monitor is not allowed to respond on signal input and all is controlled by an integrated System- Press the ‘Settings’ Icon on the remote control to enter ‘OSD menu’ settings
- Now go to Advanced menu and press the Power save mode and select mode 4.
- Done.
- Press the ‘Settings’ Icon on the remote control to enter ‘OSD menu’ settings
