Instructions  

  1. Format a USB drive as FAT32. For instructions on how to format a USB flash drive to FAT 32, please see our solution guide: How to format USB Drive to FAT32.

  2. Extract the following folders to the root directory of the USB drive
    • IFPxxG1extract 'upgrade_3683’

  1. Insert the USB drive into the USB port identified for your ViewBoard

                                              



  2. Initiate Upgrade procedure


Method 1 Upgrade Procedure:
  1. Turn off the ViewBoard using the rocker switch
  2. Insert the USB drive into the USB port.
  3. Power on the display, it will automatically initiate the upgrade process. Once the upgrade is complete, the system will automatically restart.

The power LED will rapidly flash red and blue during the upgrade process. When finished, the panel will reboot to the out-of-box setup. The process will take approx. 4-5 minutes to complete. 

 
 

Method 2 Upgrade Procedure:

  1. Insert the USB drive with the 'upgrade_3683' folder on the root of the drive
  2. Using the remote control press "INPUT 9 9 1" to access the debug menu
  3. Select Upgrade, then Upgrade All and confirm

The power LED will rapidly flash red and blue during the upgrade process. When finished, the panel will reboot to the out-of-box setup. The process will take approx. 4-5 minutes to complete.
