1. Issue: No Signal

Symptoms

  • Monitor displays “No Signal”

  • Screen remains black even when connected

  • Input source message repeatedly appears

Possible Causes

  • Incorrect or loose cable connection

  • USB‑C port does not support video output

  • Wrong input source selected

  • Incompatible or low‑quality cables

  • Device does not support USB‑C video output

Solutions

  1. Ensure all cables are securely connected.

  2. Confirm the USB‑C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode (video output).

  3. Switch the monitor’s input source (USB‑C / HDMI).

  4. Use certified USB‑C (USB 3.1 or higher) or HDMI cables.

  5. Verify that your device supports video output over USB‑C.

  6. Restart both the monitor and the connected device.

2. Issue: No Power

Symptoms

  • Monitor does not turn on

  • No LED indicator

  • No response when pressing the power button

Possible Causes

  • Insufficient power supply

  • Damaged or loose power cable

  • USB‑C port does not provide enough wattage

Solutions

  1. Test the power outlet or USB‑C power adapter.

  2. Inspect the power cable for damage and ensure secure connections.

  3. Press the physical power button (if required by the model).

  4. If powering via USB‑C, confirm the port provides adequate power.

  5. Use an external power source if the device cannot supply enough power.

3. Issue: “Out of Range” Message

Symptoms

  • Monitor displays “Out of Range”

  • Screen flickers or goes black when changing resolution

  • Display works on other devices but not the current one

Possible Causes

  • Unsupported resolution or refresh rate

  • Outdated graphics drivers

Solutions

  1. Adjust the device to a supported resolution for your monitor model.

  2. Set the refresh rate to a supported value (commonly 60 Hz).

  3. Update graphics drivers on the connected device.

  4. Restart both devices to renegotiate display settings.

4. Issue: No Touch Response

(Touch‑enabled models only: TD1655, TD1656‑2K, etc.)

Symptoms

  • Touch does not register

  • Touch is inaccurate or inconsistent

  • Touch works on the device but not on the portable monitor

Possible Causes

  • Model does not support touch

  • Incorrect cable type

  • Missing macOS driver

  • Unsupported device (e.g., iPhone/iPad)

Solutions

  1. Confirm the monitor model supports touch functionality.

  2. Use a USB‑C to USB‑A data cable for touch input (HDMI does not carry touch).

  3. macOS users must install the vTouch driver and follow the setup guide.

  4. Note: Touch is not supported on iPhones or iPads.
