How to disable U-Disk lock on an IFP

Issue:
The display is reporting the following error on the screen: "The device has been locked, please use the U disk to unlock".


Instructions:

  1. Obtain a FAT32 formatted USB drive. 
  2. Download the attached Unlock.zip
  3. Open and extract the Unlock file
  4. Load file to a USB flash drive
  5. Connect the USB flash drive to the display's front USB ports
  6. System will unlock automatically


To Disable the U-Disk Lock:

  • OLD UI:
    1. Using the remote control, press INPUT-9-9-1
    2. Select Player Settings
    3. Set USB Key Lock to OFF

  • NEW UI
    1. Using the remote control, press INPUT-9-9-1
    2. Select Machine Settings
    3. Set USB Key Lock to OFF
