Notice: Google Drive Binding Issue on myViewBoard.com
We are currently experiencing an issue with Google Drive integration on myViewBoard.com.
Users attempting to bind their Google Drive accounts may encounter a “be blocked” error message.
Root Cause
This issue stems from Google’s recent updates to its SSO security policies, which now require a re-approval process for certain application permissions. As a result, our app is undergoing review to regain the necessary scopes for accessing Google Drive.
Who is Affected
- Existing users who have already connected their Google Drive can continue using the integration without disruption.
- Google Workspace users who have previously marked myViewBoard as a trusted app will also not be affected.
- However, individual users (non-Workspace accounts) attempting to re-bind Google Drive may encounter blocked access due to the unapproved scopes.
Estimated Resolution Time
Based on previous experience with Google’s review process, approval typically takes 3–5 business days. We will update you as soon as access is restored.
